Squid Game Netflix Biggest Launch Reach 111 Million Views in First 25 Days World Wide.

Famous OTT platform Netflix has announced that its recent offering, Korean web series ‘Squid Game’ has becomes it biggest launch till date.

Popularity for the show is such that Squid Game beat previous topper Bridgerton, which gained 82 million households in its first 28 days.

Netflix announced that its South Korean  thriller drama Squid Game has officially reached 111 million viewers – making it the platform’s biggest series launch of all time. The show was released on September 17.

Netflix made the announcement on its official Twitter handle.

The show has topped the charts in 80 countries till now after releasing on September 17.  The show is written and directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk. It stars Lee Jung-jae, Park Hae-soo, Wi Ha-joon, Jung Ho-yeon, O Yeong-su, Heo Sung-tae, Anupam Tripathi, and Kim Joo-ryoung.

Anupam Tripathi, who is an Indian actor, living in Korea from last 11 years, rose to instant fame for his character of Abdul Ali in the series.
