Money Heist (aka La Casa De Papel) season 5 is hitting Netflix in two parts in September and December 2021. Here’s the latest and everything we know so far about Money Heist season 5 including when we can expect the release date.
Money Heist 5’s new teaser proves it isn’t a robbery now. It is war. The upcoming season will bring back actors Álvaro Morte, Úrsula Corberó, Pedro Alonso, Itziar Ituño, Najwa Nimri, Jaime Lorente, Miguel Herrán, Esther Acebo, among others.
Money Heist currently holds the current record of being the most-watched non-English title on Netflix. Once again, for the fourth season, the series smashed all of the previous records it set. The fourth part of Money Heist managed to rack up an incredible 65 million views.
“The gang has been shut in the Bank of Spain for over 100 hours. They have managed to rescue Lisbon, but their darkest moment is upon them after losing one of their own. The Professor has been captured by Sierra and, for the first time, doesn’t have an escape plan. Just when it seems like nothing else could go wrong, an enemy comes on the scene that is much more powerful than any they’ve faced: the army. The end of the greatest heist in history is approaching, and what began as a robbery will turn into a war.”
This is more than just a fight, it’s war. La Resistencia is coming back: Volume 1 on September 3rd and Volume 2 on December 3rd, 2021.
Netflix officially acknowledged that season 5 of Money Heist is coming in August 2020. Sadly, they also confirmed that “the heist comes to an end” meaning that season 5 will be the final installment of the hit Spanish series.
